Following a story we first published June 11, 2012, the SidneyHerald says the West Side Elementry School in Sidney, Montana continues to try and find affordable housing for the 16 new staff members hired since last year. Schools superintendent Daniel Farr says 90 percent of the staff cannot afford local rents, and the city has to approve zoning plans for the modular housing on campus proposed by the school system. Plans call for three modular units with three apartments, either two or three bedrooms, in each unit. MHProNews has learned Farr says he hopes to have the modular housing by the beginning of October.
