Power Is Being Restored Through Lower Manhattan Right Now!

People are cheering on the streets!?Seems like Con Edison is going to make it and the entirety of Manhattan will haver power today. We are still updating our Sandy story liveblog here.?I?ve never been so happy to see a traffic light!
This is really good news. It means that the subway power-up of many lines is also imminent. Sadly, this doesn?t mean that we are free from the blackout yet. Many people still need power in parts of New York and New Jersey.
